January 2026:
This month I've been exploring and settling into the UK, I'm studying abroad at the University for the Creative Arts in England and by god has it been a lot. Getting to London then Farnham from my home in Portland was just short of a 15 hour journey split between a train, two plane rides, and a taxi. The architecture and artistic history here has been a joy to witness and as school starts to pick up I'm excited for the the technical and methodological skills I'll get the chance to learn. I'm hoping to use my time abroad as both a break from my normally busy life and as a time to focus on my practice as a whole and better develop it to suit both my long term goals and my upcoming thesis project. Only time will tell how I develop as an artist while I'm here!
